Sandra Figueroa Bast, President, WorldView Education

Ms. Bast has an engineering background and more than 12 years experience in the information technology field. Ms. Bast directs the activities of Worldview, and is constantly seeking new opportunities to enhance the lives of at-risk peoples through new initiatives. Ms. Bast is also the President and Founder of Bast Services, Inc.

Nick Bognar, COO, WorldView Education

Mr. Bognar has a degree from Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington), and has previously worked for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in Baltimore and the Getty Center in Los Angeles.




 

 
Michael Verde, Director, GOLI

Mr. Verde oversees all facets of the Global Opportunity Leadership Institute.  He holds an M.A. in literary studies from University of Iowa, and an M.A. in theology from the University of Durham, England.  In 1997, he was named Lamar University’s Teacher of the Year. In addition to his work with GOLI, Mr. Verde is the Founder of Memory Bridge: The Foundation for Alzheimer’s and Cultural Memory.
